Meet Greg Leavitt

After earning my BA in English (Cum Laude) from UNH in '94, I started my career in the Healthcare Industry with Oxford Health Plans in South Nashua, where I was groomed in all facets of customer service and handled a multitude of tasks, from answering phones to processing claims to writing for the newsletter to assisting in the marketing dept to working with their Adopt-A-School program. After two years with Oxford, I decided to try and do my part for the doctor/hospital side of the healthcare equation and spent most of the past decade with Century Management Services in North Haven,CT, where I served in an administrative consultant/managerial role for Yale-New Haven Health System providers. While in CT, I bought and sold, renovated and remodeled, several properties, including a small condo, a three-family home in New Haven, and a 1930's beach cottage at the mouth of the Long Island Sound (Eastern CT). In January '07, while my last house was on the market in CT, I moved to Costa Rica where I had a friend who was a real estate broker for Century 21/Oceanview Realty. I was a successful part of the village community as well as the sales staff there, handling properties for buyers and sellers in the beautiful jungle beach area of Playa San Miguel on the Nicoya Peninsula.

I was born in 1970 in the great city of Lowell,MA and moved 'north of the border', to Merrimack,NH, in 1980. Since college, I've lived in Portland,OR, San Rafael,CA (Marin County/Bay Area), Southern CT, and the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. I've traveled extensively within the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, by car, train, and plane. And I've ventured to many foreign countries, including Japan, Belize, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. I really enjoy nearly any outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, scuba diving, camping, kayaking, and most sports in general. My love for real estate started with my father who was a builder/contractor and ran his own company in the 80's, predominantly on the coast of Southern Maine.
