My first name Janos [pronounced as Yanosh] means John in English.My last name Kovacs [pronounced as Kovach] means Smith. Now, you understand why I had to leave Hungary: every other person has the same name there.

My engineering profession took me from Europe to Canada, then to Vermont, Massachusetts, Colorado and to New Hampshire. With my wife Zsu-Zsa (not related to Gabor ZsaZsa the actress) we decided to raise our three kids Adam, Esther and Peter here.

After a succesful engineering management carreer I became a general contractor and real estate investor. I enjoy doing handy work, and I have learnt a lot about managing complex projects, controlling workflow and costs. As a manager of 30-40 people, I had to acquire essential organization skills, leading by example and working though tough problems with people.

I am truly excited about working at Prudential Verani. I can honestly say I have never met an other real estate company which is as organized as this one. Flow charts, check lists, processes in place; an engineer's dream. I feel right at home.
