Meet Joanne Mitsiaris

Greetings, 
 

Wow, where do I begin?  My journey to homeownership began while serving in Iraq...yes...Iraq.  I knew I wanted to buy a home, but was not sure as to any of the particulars.  One day, I happened upon the Norway Plains Website.  It was describing a new development that was occurring in Rochester, NH.  The website was well planned out.  It provided the house blueprints.  From that I was able to choose the house that was just right for my spatial needs and my budget.  Next was finding an agent. 

I still remember my first call to my agent, Joanne Mitsiaris.  I called her from Iraq.  Needless to say this was challenging since, at the time, there was a fourteen hour time difference between us.  I found that we shared a determination in helping me find my new home.  We also corresponded via email.  She sent pictures of cabinets, color combinations for the kitchen, the exterior, and various rooms.   When asked, she offered her advice on different aspects of the house.  She was very helpful.  I had chosen some interesting options for my new home.  She insured my desires for my home were realized.   

Upon my return to the States, I met Joanne in Somersworth.  I was so unfamiliar with the area, I needed her to lead me to my new home.  There I met Bill, the property manager.  I found him to be quite helpful as well.  He was putting the finishing touches on the home.  He answered all of my construction related questions.  We did a walk through of the home for final acceptance.  He had a painter standing by to do any touch up that I, or he, thought was needed.  That was a nice touch. 

At the closing, I went to Joanne’s office in Portsmouth where I met her colleagues.  She was part of a great team.  The closing went flawlessly. 

All and all, I would say I have been very pleased with my experience.  I would recommend the Norway Plains community to anyone.

As a first time home buyer, I cannot imagine a more comforting experience than working with Joanne as our Realtor. From the moment we met her, it felt as though we had met a new friend. As a military family, new to the area, Joanne took her time with us, showing us the area and making sure that the decision we made on our house was the right one. We never once felt pressured and Joanne always made herself available to us for any questions we might have, big or small. In the end, her willingness to listen to us and shape our search around our specific criteria along with her patience and reassurance led us to find the perfect house for us. If we ever have to move, Joanne would be our immediate choice to work with again.

've got to say that they don't come any better than Joanne. If you want an agent that will work day and night, 7 days a week to help you find a home then Joanne would be the agent for you. The kind of house we were looking for was not easy to find and Joanne helped make it happen. I would e-mail her for one thing or another and before the end of the day she would get back to me. Verani is very lucky to have her. Thanks to Joanne we will be moving into our new home in Sept. Stephen & Cathy Marcia & Roger
