Meet Maria Laycox

I have worked in the Real Estate Industry for approximately Seven plus years. I started my career at Re/Max Intentions in Franklin , NH. I am a member of the Lakes Region Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and New Hampshire Association of Realtors.

After completing my first year of Real Estate I quickly sought and recieved my Associate Brokers License. I felt the more informed and the more professional I became in Real Estate the better I could facilitate my clients.

Upon completion of my second year in Real Estate I again sought more knowledge and better fine tuning of my skills as a Realtor and I took a long series of certified classes to gain my Graduate Realtor Designation (GRI).

I believe in education and with the Real Estate industry constantly changing and evolving due to market conditions and client preferences. It greatly benefits me as a Realtor to change and evolve with it, to better meet my clients needs.

Life before Real Estate: Prior to Real Estate, I worked over twenty five years in the Metal and Electronic Industries as an Assistant Quality Engineer, Customer and Supplier Service, Supervisor, Draftsman and Quality Assurance Inspector. I have attented engineering courses at MIT, and the Lowell Institue of Technology.

From my family to yours...

Married for over 30 years and proud mom of three great children and two beautiful grand children! My family means everything to me.  I have both designed and built two log homes and this experience has given me the understanding of the building process which I share with others. I love nature and get outside every chance I have to enjoy beautiful New Hampshire with all its nooks and crannies.

My husband and I currently live in Salisbury in a log home we built approximately seven years ago. I am active in my community and have a passion for town politics.

I believe in giving back to my community and donate my time and service at town affairs.

My passion is gardening and you may find me planting and weeding and currently I am working on planting a small apple orchard. I also in my down time work on needle work projects of all kinds but knitting by far is my favorite. I am very active and rarely sit still, this is just me, I like being busy, I thrive in a busy environment!
