Mark came to Prudential Verani in December 2007 with more than 10 years of real estate experience behid him, most recently as owner/broker of Mark Allen Team Realty, LLC. He practices both residential and commercial brokerage.

I graduated from UConn in 1989 after one year of study in France, and then took a "summer job" teaching English in Czechoslovakia (as it was then called) before heading off to law school @ Boston University. Well, I stayed in Europe for 2 more years and never did show up at law school -- lucky me!

In my travels I have picked up several languages, and speak French, German, Czech, Italian, and a couple other languages with varying degrees of success. Occassionally, a real "relocation" buyer or seller lets me brush up on these!

My wife Deborah is a veterinarian praticing mobile diagnositic ultrasound. We have 3 kids and more pets than I care to fess up to.

When I find the time, I enjoy reading, writing, fly-fishing, travel, and learning new things. My latest kick is taking voice lessons: I stink, but it's fun.

But most of the time, I like to work. I've been in the real estate business for over a decade now, and still love it! By far, the best part of this business has been meeting and working with the hundreds of different people I have been fortunate enough to count as clients, and in turn meeting their friends through generous referrals.
