This remote cabin is located 17 miles deep in the North Maine Woods. The authentic rustic cabin is located on a dead-end road along the Machias River. With an open concept layout, the camp is 24 x 24 with a woodstove and a newer propane wall monitor for heat. The propane lines, propane light fixtures, and refrigerator have all been replaced. This camp currently sleeps 6 and is furnished with a queen bed, queen size pullout couch, plus two twin beds in the loft. There is a nice path down to the river for access to the waterway. Private and remote, yet less than 30 mins drive in from the 6-Mile Gate. Enjoy the 3.5 million acres of forestland outside your door, abundant with fish, wildlife, and all that the North Maine Woods has to offer. Experience the tradition!
