Verani Realty Hosts Annual Food Drive in NH, ME, and MA

Londonderry, NH - October 18, 2021 - Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty hosted its annual VeraniCARES Food Drive throughout the month of September. With the help of agents, staff, and clients, Verani Realty was able to more than double its non-perishable food contribution over last year, and help raise awareness for the New Hampshire Food Bank, Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine, SHARE Outreach, and Meredith Food Pantry.

Verani Realty’s offices focused on the food banks’ most needed items –– peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, whole grains, soups, spices, and dried herbs. Through the month of September, Verani Realty was able to raise and donate nearly $30,000 along with over 5,000 pounds of food. In total, the food and monetary contributions will help provide approximately 65,000 meals to food-insecure families throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. 

Verani Realty has always had a commitment and dedication to help better the community. In late 2015 VeraniCARES was established and it has quickly become a big part of the company’s identity. Since its inception, VeraniCARES has donated over $300,000 to more than 50 local organizations. Agents and staff alike give their time and energy by participating in the many VeraniCARES volunteering and fundraising events which take place all throughout the year. Many Verani Realty agents also donate a portion of their commission to VeraniCARES which is matched by the company. With the Thanksgiving season nearing, it’s good to remember to give thanks and give back.
