Giovanni Verani, President

Raised in real estate, Giovanni initially entered the industry and joined his father’s firm, Verani Realty, almost 30 years ago. After graduating with a Master of Business Administration degree from Bentley University, Giovanni started as a residential sales agent but quickly found a niche in commercial real estate. He made it a priority to continue his education by taking advanced commercial courses such as CCIM and earning his ALC and CRB designations. Through many residential and commercial transactions, totaling well over 8 million square feet, Giovanni has been able to build long-term relationships with his clients as well as create a sense of trust and credibility within the community. With Giovanni’s involvement, Verani Realty has expanded past strictly residential real estate and has also become known for its expertise in the commercial, leasing, and land development space; giving agents the ability to learn and grow within multiple avenues of real estate.

As the current President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty, Giovanni’s primary responsibility lies within the growth and development of the company, as well as agent and staff advancement. Established in 1967, Verani Realty has seen and been able to thrive in a variety of fluctuating market environments. In recent years, Verani has grown to over 20 offices and appointment centers with a network of more than 650 agents with over 50 employees. Under Giovanni’s leadership, Verani Realty welcomed two affiliate companies, Broker’s Title and Closing, and Pater Real Estate Management, to provide a collaborative and seamless transaction for all parties involved.

Verani Realty has always operated under five core values - Trust, Respect, Tenacity, Innovation, and Fun. Every day, Giovanni strives to uphold those values to create an open, collaborative, and mutually respectful company culture. Giovanni recognized early on that real estate is continuously evolving, and to ensure success, Verani has to evolve along with it. When the internet made its appearance, he understood the power in its potential, and he was the first person to bring real estate online in New Hampshire. His commitment to innovation continues today by implementing industry-leading systems and resources to help elevate agents’ businesses, and ensure all consumer expectations are met throughout their real estate journey. In addition, he devotes his time to new business initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions, professional development, and vendor relationships.

An important aspect of Giovani’s upbringing in real estate has been involved in the community. This ignited a passion for giving back and bettering the lives of those in our communities. Giovanni has served on various town boards focused on workforce housing, he has served as a New Hampshire State Representative and was on the Board of Directors for the Nutfield YMCA. In 2016, Gianni took his commitment to community outreach and founded Verani Realty’s philanthropic endeavor, VeraniCARES. Since its inception, VeraniCARES has donated in excess of $400,000 and countless hours, touching over 50 local organizations and charities.

Fun isn’t just a Verani core value for Giovanni, it’s a way of life. He’s known for always keeping a light-hearted sense of humor and never taking himself too seriously. Outside of the office, he considers himself to be an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking, gardening, scuba diving, and playing hockey. He volunteers his time giving back to the community as a member of the Londonderry Planning Board and has been coaching hockey for various organizations such as NH Junior Monarchs, Londonderry Middle School, New England Wild Cats, and Top Gun Hockey for the past 13 years. He is also on the board of directors of the New Hampshire Girls Hockey Association (NHGHA), an organization that fosters and promotes girls' and young women’s ice hockey. Londonderry, NH has been, and always will be, Giovanni’s home. He is proudly married to a smart, beautiful, and driven woman, Tammy Verani, and together they have two incredible children, Alianna and Luca. They keep them laughing, grounded, and busy!
