“Shirley's reputation for Samoset is incredible. Before we met her, we saw her working for Seller and looking out for buyers through the Samoset page. Everyone that talked about her expressed her detailed knowledge of not only the Samoset compound, but the lakes region in general. We met Shirley when Samoset #5 went on the market. She was the Sellers agent, but we were so comfortable with her that we didn't pursue a buyers agent. Through the process of acquiring unit #5, we received timely accurate information and assistance in a process that led to us securing the property. At no point did we feel she had a conflict of interest, she was very professional in her communication between the seller and buyer. Based on that, we gave Shirley the listing to sell our condo, Samoset #131. She was collaborative, but made sure that we had control of pricing and strategy to sell the property. When we got the results of a very zealous inspector, she helped us separate the real issues from the 'negotiation' issues. She gave us good advice that led to a quick sale, with both the seller and buyer owning closing tasks. in my opinion, she overcame an emotional buyer agent and helped turn the corner and avoid arbitrary requests on their part. All through the process, she was extremely helpful, with a strong list of contracts that help the process - from inspectors, contractors, and especially internal politics at Samoset. Without Shirley, i can see that this would have been a much more stressful transaction.”
