Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty Concludes 7th Annual Food Drive

Londonderry, NH – October 12, 2023 – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty hosted its 7th annual VeraniCARES Food Drive throughout the month of September and October. With the help of agents, staff, and clients, Verani Realty was able to donate to a variety of food banks around New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. The organizations touched by Verani Realty’s food drive are the New Hampshire Food Bank, Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine, SHARE Outreach, Saint Joseph’s Food Pantry, and Upper Valley Haven.

Verani Realty’s offices focused on the food banks’ most needed items –– peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, whole grains, soups, spices, and dried herbs. Through the entirety of the food drive, Verani Realty was able to raise and donate $25,000 along with 8,280 pounds of food. In total, the food and monetary contributions will help provide over 70,000 meals to food-insecure families throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. 

Verani Realty has always had a commitment and dedication to helping better the community. Founded in 2016, VeraniCARES has quickly become a big part of the company’s identity. Since its inception, VeraniCARES has donated over $400,000 to more than 50 local organizations. Agents and staff alike give their time and energy by participating in the many VeraniCARES volunteering and fundraising events that take place all throughout the year. Many Verani Realty agents also donate a portion of their commission to VeraniCARES which is matched by the company. With the Thanksgiving season nearing, it’s good to remember to give thanks and give back.
